Fireproofing protection products protects structural steel framed buildings and are categorized into Sprayed Fire-Resistive Materials (SFRM), Intumescent Fire-Resistive Material (IFRM) and Rigid Board Fire Protection. The following information separates products into these several categories and is intended to provide general information about various types of fire protection products.

SFRMs are aggregate based products held together by cementitious binders and sprayed onto the steel structural elements in thickness ranging from 1/4" to 3 7/7"

Intumescent coating are factory mixed liquid, paint-like materials that are applied to the steel by spray, brush, or roller. In a fire, the material intumescent (swells) and forms an insulation char around the substrate.

Rigid Board Fire-Resistive Materials is a rigid, mineral wool board that is mechanically fastened to the substrate and provides hourly fire resistance ratings in accordance the ASTM E119/UL263

Spray Fiberglass Insulation is the solution for hard-to-insulate areas. A non-combustible, non-toxic, insulation that can be quickly spray applied to virtually any surface or configuration. It is also used as an effective acoustic insulation, which intern will reduce sound transmission between spaces.
